The membership of this NAACP branch is proud and involved with the Wooster, Orrville, and the Wayne County community. Our membership is shared by individuals of many racial, cultural and socioeconomic levels who are concerned about retaining the civil liberties of our neighbors.

Juneteenth 2021

Join your neighbors and friends in the NAACP as we celebrate Juneteenth. Starting with a Celebration Picnic in Schellin Park at noon on Saturday the 19th, the observance of Juneteenth will continue on the Square in Wooster from 4-6 pm. Speakers will share the history of the struggles and triumphs in the ongoing fight for racial justice and equity. Join us to mark this important day in the history of the United States!


Monthly General Assembly Meeting of the Wooster/Orrville NAACP is held on 2nd Monday at 7:00 pm – via Zoom or at the OneEighty Conference Room, 2nd Floor @ Gault Liberty Center, 104 Spink Street, Wooster 44691 (when normal meetings can resume).
